Step Forward Good Practice and Partnership Working Conference:
A capacity building conference for small and voluntary sector organisations.
14 February 2007

This free conference around sharing innovation and good practice is brought to you by the Lambeth Council Supporting People Team, Refugee Housing Association and Step Forward.

Key features of the conference
· a key note address from Lambeth Council’s Chief Executive Derrick Anderson
· workshops around quality assurance frameworks, developing organisational policies and commissioning partnerships
· sessions run by Supporting People, Refugee Housing Association and Step Forward

Who should attend?
This conference will be useful for many smaller VCS health and social care groups already delivering, or interested in delivering services that support independent living.
If service delivery and holding contracts is new to your group and you’re concerned about the challenges ahead, this conference may help you establish good links with a larger provider (which may in turn lead to sub-contracting opportunities).
In addition the workshops will take you through many of the organisational development issues your group may need to address in order to gear yourselves up for service delivery.
