Are you looking to develop skills to manage volunteers? Do your volunteers need to build their skills and experience while volunteering? Well, look no further than the Volunteer Centre Lambeth 2010 training programme.

Volunteer Centre Lambeth is offering you and your volunteers the chance to attend a range of exciting workshops and courses which we have carefully selected to help you develop yourself, your volunteer programme and your volunteers. The training programme has been developed in response to your feedback about the training you need in our recent survey, so you can be sure there will be something for you.
We are also very pleased to be able to offer workshops FREE of charge (you pay a returnable deposit) and you can attend as many courses as you want! Remember to book early as spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis and fill up fast.

•Volunteers and the Law- Wednesday 17th February 2010 10am – 4pm

•Developing your Personal Leadership Skills- Wednesday 10 March 2010 10am – 1pm
•Fundraising for Beginners- Friday 19 March 2010 10am – 4pm

Want to know about COMMISSIONING? But afraid to ask?

Throughout 2009/10 LVAC, through the Lambeth LIP consortium, is offering FREE commissioning training courses for all Voluntary and Community Sector Groups in Lambeth.

The aim of these courses is to:
• Increase your organisation’s knowledge of commissioning to complete tender documents
• In the longer term, assist your ability to be successful in future commissioning rounds

Lambeth Procurement and the Voluntary and Community Sector:
• 18 February 2010
This course will cover the commissioning process from a Lambeth Council perspective and will be delivered by a member of Lambeth Council’s Corporate Procurement Team.
