About Lambeth Voluntary Action Council (LVAC)

Developing, Supporting and Empowering Lambeth’s Voluntary and Community Sector

LVAC is an independent membership-based voluntary organisation which:

  • Represents, supports and develops Lambeth’s voluntary and community sector.
  • Develops new initiatives to meet community needs.
  • Promotes cooperation between the voluntary and statutory sectors.
 

LVAC membership benefits include:

  • Special support for small groups
  • Advice and support for finding and applying for funding

  • One to one advice and support.
 

LVAC offers free advice and consultancy on issues such as:

  • Charitable and company status
  • Management and staffing
  • Finance and fundraising
  • Project Development
  • Accountancy
  • Capacity Building.
 

LVAC is currently involved with and supports:

  • Lambeth Health & Social Care Forum
  • Lambeth Mental Health Forum
  • Lambeth Compact
  • Lambeth First (LSP)
  • Cross River Partnership

And many other forums and initiatives around the Borough.
